Rope Access Training

Your success is one of the most important things to you. It is to us as well. Our curriculum will provide all of the tools you need to be successful as a rope access technician. We have trained hundreds of students just like you who are now enjoying a job with better pay, better benefits and better career opportunities. The rest is up to you!

It’s hard work, but everything worth having is. It’ll be your job to apply the skills you learn at AccessRULES. But, we’re here to guide you along the way. We believe our obligation to you extends well beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Just give us a call, we don’t mind giving advice or pointing you in the right direction.

SPRAT and IRATA are the two predominant certifying bodies in the USA. Each has a three-tiered certification system which progresses in difficulty as you gain experience. Each scheme also allows for Direct Entry or Conversion of existing certifications into the desired scheme.

We offer training for either scheme, at all levels. You can also train for Dual certification to both schemes. Direct Entry and Conversion is available if you meet certain requirements. Click or give us a call for more information.

What's included in your training

We truly believe you should get more from training than just a certificate. We want you to be prepared for the needs of your profession. This is why we provide each of our students with an flash drive preloaded with information that will use throughout your career. It’s best to bring a laptop or tablet that can accept a USB drive to class so that you can access the drive.

So You Want to be a Rope Access Technician – Our course curriculum, written as if you were sitting with us discussing rope access.
Course Discussion and Homework – Copies of all of our presentations.
IRATA – ICOP and TACS, Safety bulletins and Toolbox talks.
SPRAT – All of their guidance as it becomes available.
Gear – Inspection and use guidance for most of the gear you’ll be exposed to.

Each course is scheduled for four or five days, depending upon Assessor/Evaluator availability. The cost of the certification day includes registration with the certifying body and other third party costs and is part of your course fee.

Oh, and if you pass, you’ll get a shirt!
